Lorene Brown, age 88 of Snead, passed away Tuesday, August 28, 2012 at her residence.

She was born June 21, 1924 to Dave and Callie (Graves) Brown and was a lifelong member of Bethel Baptist Church.

Lorene Brown is survived by her brother; Dee and Ruby Brown of Susan Moore, sister; Lillie Mae Brown of Snead, nephew; Harold and Mae Brown of Altoona, nieces; Cindy and Jim Prickett of Snead, Pattie Dunn of Nectar, Debbie and Wade Martin of Oneonta, and Susan and Ronnie Naugher of Birmingham; Sisters-In-Law; Ailene Brown of Snead and Pearl Brown of Snead, and a Host of Great-Nieces and Great-Nephews.

Brother Bill Ridgeway will conduct the Funeral Service Friday, August 31, 2012 at 2 P.M. at the Chapel of Snead Funeral Home with Interment in Ebenezer Cemetery. Ms. Brown will Lie In State, at Snead Funeral Home, Thursday from 5:30 P.M. until 8 P.M. and Friday from 8:30 A.M until funeral time.

Pallbearers will be Jake Dunn, Jim Prickett, Wade Martin, David Brown, Ronnie Naugher, and Eric Prickett.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Harold Brown, Dennis Brown, Christopher Brown, Matt Clowdus, Tim Thrower, and J.D Prickett.

She is going home to meet her parents; Dave and Callie (Graves) Brown, brothers; Dennis Brown and J.P. Brown, and sister; Nellie Brown.
