Mrs. Linda Sparks Eakes, age 80 of Horton, AL passed away Friday, August 9, 2024 at her residence.

She is survived by her children – Wayne Eakes (Kristen) and Patricia Fulton; grandchildren – LeAnna Epperson (Brandon) and Jami Nash – Russo (Phillip); great grandchildren – RyLee Epperson, Trenton Epperson, MaddaLynn Nash Russo, and Greyson Russo.

Mrs. Eakes is preceded in death by her husband – John Wayne Eakes; granddaughter – Tosha Shores Eakes; daughter-in-law – Joy Eakes; parents – D.T. and Elizabeth (Umphrey) Sparks; siblings – Roy Lee Sparks, R.T. Sparks, Gertie Beasley, Lillie Mae Thompson, and Henry Lee Sparks; sisters-in-law – Merline Sparks and Evelyn Sparks; brothers-in-law – Bill Beasley and Aubrey Thompson.

Funeral Service will be Sunday, August 11, 2024 at 4:00 PM at The Graveside at Dailey's Chapel Cemetery in Rosa. There will be no visitation.

Pallbearers will be – Wayne Eakes, Brandon Epperson, Phillip Russo, LeAnna Epperson, Jami Nash-Russo, and RyLee Epperson.
