Mrs. Linda Ann Franklin Shiver Cowan, age 50 of Altoona, AL., passed away on Thursday, June 25, 2015.

Linda is survived by her husband: Randy Cowan of Altoona, AL.; her children: Jeremy Franklin Shiver of Altoona, AL. and Joshua Wayne Shiver of Snead, AL.; her grandchildren: Jaxon W. Shiver and Jazlyn A. Shiver both of Snead, AL; her mother: Gail Price Franklin of Oneonta, AL.; her siblings: Gerald Franklin of Oneonta, AL., Teresa & Max Hilburn of Blountsville, AL., Lisa & Tommy Chambers of Douglas, AL., Donald & Jamie Franklin of Walnut Grove, AL., and Jeff & Amy Franklin of California; her In-Laws: Tonya & Chris Mickle of Altoona, AL. and Sheila & Terry Bishop of Gadsden, AL.; and a host of nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased in death by her first husband: Robert Wayne Shiver; her father: Earnest Junior Franklin; and her mother-in-law: Margaret Cowan.

Robbie Burtram will conduct the funeral service on Tuesday, June 30, 2015 @ 1pm at the Chapel of Snead Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Faith First Congregational Methodist Cemetery in Walnut Grove, AL.. Mrs. Cowan will lie in state at Snead Funeral Home on Tuesday from 12(noon) until funeral time.

Pallbearers will be: Manley Hilburn, Tim Franklin, Chad Price, Jonathan Chambers, Adam Franklin, and Max Hilburn.
