Mr. Leonard Leland Beatty, age 84 of Oneonta, passed away Saturday, June 26, 2021 surrounded by his family.

He is preceded in death by his daughter – Debbie Britt; parents – Millard and Gertrude Beatty; brothers – David Beatty and Kenneth Beatty; and sisters – Connie Whittington, Pat Whittington, and Carol Whittington.

Mr. Beatty is survived by his wife – Virginia Sanders Beatty; sons – Leland Beatty, and Millard (Etta) Beatty; daughter – Seslie (Gilberto) Acosta; grandchildren – Amber Flores, Lee Beatty, Rusty Britt, Nick Beatty, Alex Alvarado, Thomas Beatty, David Acosta, Cliff Beatty, Cali Acosta, and Milla Beatty; brother – Randel (Pam) Beatty; and sisters – Gail Box, Janice (Freeman) Pendergraph, Kathy (Johnny) Whittington, and Donna (Danny) Woodard.

Brother Charles Smith will conduct the Funeral Service on Friday, July 2, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church. Interment will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery.  Mr. Beatty will Lie-In-Repose, at Snead Funeral Home on Thursday from 5:30 PM until 8:00 PM and at Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church on Friday from 12 (Noon) until Funeral Time.

Pallbearers will be – Leland Beatty, Millard Beatty, Gilberto Acosta, Lee Beatty, Rusty Britt, Nick Beatty, Alex Alvarado, and Thomas Beatty.
