Ms. Lavada Bachelor, age 75 of Snead, passed away Friday, January 17, 2020 at St. Vincent's East in Birmingham.

She is survived by her children – Lamar Hawkins (Diane) of Blountsvile, AL, Joseph Hawkins (Paula) of The Wilson Chapel Community, Sandy Floyd (Darrell) of Snead, Jennifer Poole (Allen) of The Liberty Community, Misty Abernathy (Chris) of Ashville, and Tommy Hughes (Kenna) of Altoona; her grandchildren – Danny Hawkins (Marilyn), Chase Hawkins, Shaun Hawkins; Frank Mave (Christie), Randy Mave, Lisa Hawkins, Candace Rollins, Anthony Lee (Amelia), Kayla Lee, Nathaniel Underwood, Heather Breeden, Joshua Breeden, Raven Breeden, Kaitlin Breeden, Jacob Breeden, Zackary Breeden, Justin Hawkins, Deric Raney, Halley Hawkins, Trever Poole, Dakota Poole, Blake Poole, Cheyenne Poole, Riley Poole, Kristle Whisenhunt, Daniel Laughlin, Alana Abernathy, 26 great grandchildren; and her siblings – Glenell Laughlin (Patsy), Phillip Laughlin (Cathy), and Janie Sue Chevies.

Ms. Bachelor is preceded in death by her infant son; her fiancé – Sid Hughes; her granddaughter and great grandchild – Sandra Garcia (baby Garcia); her parents – Joseph Luther Laughlin and Buena Octavia Wright; and her siblings – Gladys Laughlin, Doyle Laughlin, Robert Laughlin, Berdie Laughlin, Ruby Smith, Gean Laughlin, David Laughlin, Naomie Betaga, Noveline Weeks, and Pat Compton.

Brother Don Garrison will conduct the Funeral Service on Monday, January 20, 2020 at 12(noon) at The Chapel of The Snead Funeral Home.  Interment will follow at Wynnville Cemetery.  Ms. Bachelor will Lie In Repose, at Snead Funeral Home, Monday from 11:00 AM until Funeral Time.

Pallbearers will be – Danny Hawkins, Shaun Hawkins, Joshua Breeden, Daniel Laughlin, Dakota Poole, Chase Hawkins, and Blake Poole.
