Mr. Lamont Copeland Lindsay, age 64 of Snead, Alabama passed away on May 23, 2023 at Diversicare in Oneonta, Alabama. Brother Bric Latham will conduct the service at Snead Funeral Home on Thursday, May 25, 2023. Mr. Lindsay will lie in state from 12:00 noon until funeral time at 2:00 P.M. The internment will be at Center Cemetery on Co. Hwy. 36, Oneonta, AL. Pallbearers will be Terry Horton, Kenny Marbut, Daniel Murphree, Joe David Stevenson, Bobby Waddle, and Terry Williams.

Lamont is preceded in death by his wife Regina Lindsay, his parents Jake and Ida Lindsay, sister Euthema Harvey, nephew Wesley Hopper, and niece Anne Ashworth.

Lamont is survived by his brother Dennis Lindsay and his wife Teresa, sister Anne Ratliff and her husband Jackie, brother Glennis Lindsay and his wife Mary, sister Kathy Lindsay Hopper, brother Terry Lindsay, brother Kenneth Lindsay and brother-in-law, Chris Harvey, along with a host of niece's and nephew's and many wonderful friends.

Lamont was loved by everyone that knew him.

The family wishes to thank the staff of Diversicare in Oneonta, and the Very Special People from Compasses Hospice that took such good care of Lamont during his illness.
