Mrs. Kizzie Marie Holmes, age 95 of Snead, passed away on Thursday, December 25, 2014 at Golden Living Center in Oneonta.

Mrs. Holmes is survived by her children Mickie & Don Putnam of Georgia, Phillip Holmes of Snead, Debbie & Jack Williamson of Ohio, and Rhonda Holmes of Georgia; 10 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and a host of great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers John Henry McGlaughn of Georgia and Ellie B. Burtram of Alabama.

Kizzie is preceded in death by her husband Gradon Holmes; and her sons Ralph Holmes and Neal Holmes.

Brother Bric Latham will conduct the funeral service at 2:00pm on Saturday, December 27, 2014 at the Chapel of Snead Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Bethel Cemetery. Mrs. Holmes will lie in state at Snead Funeral Home on Saturday from 12(noon) until funeral time.

Pallbearers will be Max Wright, Mike Holmes, Greg Putnam, Corey Carter, Chase Watkins, and Steven Briggs.
