Mr. Kinney Howard Blanton, age 48 of Altoona, Alabama, passed away on December 16, 2025. A Graveside Service will be held at Altoona-Walnut Grove Cemetery on Sunday, December 21, 2025, at 2:00pm. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested a donation to your chosen charity.

Kinney was a hard-working man with a kind heart and often sought to help others when and where he could. As a child and teenager, he attended First Baptist Church in Altoona where he was a member. He enjoyed watching Alabama Football with his family and playing golf when the opportunity presented itself. He was deeply loved and supported by many.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Regina (Womack) Blanton; and his grandparents, Howard & Thelma Blanton and Jay & Vaden Womack.

He is survived by his wife, Christie (Burns) Blanton; his father, Ronald Blanton; his children, Chase (Elissa) Blanton, Allie Blanton, Hailey Burns, and Ethan Blanton; his sisters; Kim (Michael) Watkins, Tammy (Mike) Ford; and his nieces and nephews, Kyle (Shelbie) Watkins and their son, Henry Watkins, Haley (Alex) Goerke and their daughter, Lorelai Goerke, Kelsey Watkins, Ashley Ford, Sophie Ford, and Rhys Burns; his grandchildren, Ira Jane Blanton and Scottie Maeve Blanton.

Serving as Pallbearers will be Kyle Watkins, Michael Watkins, Mike Ford, Brandon Weaver, Josh Butts, and Brock Nix.
