Kenneth Lindsay, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away on May 24, 2026, in Boaz, Alabama. Born on November 21, 1960, Kenneth lived a full and vibrant life marked by his deep love for family, passionate hobbies, and the joy he found in the simple pleasures of life.
Kenneth was a man who embraced life's adventures wholeheartedly. He loved hunting and fishing, spending countless hours immersed in nature’s tranquility. His enthusiasm for motorcycles and NASCAR, especially the thrill of races at the Talladega Motor Speedway, echoed his vibrant spirit. A fervent supporter of the Alabama Crimson Tide, he would proudly exclaim “ROLL TIDE ROLL” with heartfelt pride. Kenneth also treasured peaceful moments at the beach, exhilarating trips to casinos, and the excitement of deep sea fishing. Above all, he cherished attending his grandchildren’s games, delighting in every moment of being a grandparent—a role that filled his heart with unparalleled joy.
Kenneth's family was the cornerstone of his life. He is lovingly remembered by his daughter Shae Sanders; daughter Sheena Lindsay and her partner Brad; grandchildren Osalyn Minor and her fiancé Jackie, Kennedy Minor and her fiancé Dakota, and grandson Laken Sanders. He also leaves behind his devoted siblings: Dennis Lindsay and his wife Teresa; Ann Ratliff and her husband Jackie; Glennis "Poochie" Lindsay and his wife Mary; Kathy Lindsay; Terry Lindsay and his wife Betty; and sister-in-law Debra Smith and her husband LaDon.
His legacy is also marked by those who have gone before him and now watch over him. Kenneth was preceded in death by his cherished wife, Rita Lindsay; his loving parents, John and Ida Lindsay; sister Uthema Harvey; brother Lamont Lindsay; and nephew Wesley Hopper.
Friends and family will gather to honor Kenneth's memory with visitation on May 28, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, and again on May 29, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Snead Funeral Home. His funeral service will be held immediately after visitation, beginning at 11:00 AM on May 29, followed by burial at Carnes Chapel Cemetery.
Pallbearers who have been honored to walk alongside Kenneth’s journey and now pay their final respects are Stevie McCright, Dale McCright, Joe Lindsay, Ricky Smith, Charlie Waits, and Lance Carol. The honorary pallbearer, LaDon Smith, stands as a testament to the cherished bonds Kenneth built over a lifetime.
Kenneth Lindsay's life was a beautiful mosaic of adventure, devotion, and love. To all who knew him, he was a source of strength, joy, and unwavering loyalty. Though he is no longer with us in body, his spirit lives on in the fond memories shared and the hearts he touched so deeply. He will forever be remembered for his infectious passion and the warmth he brought into every life he encountered. Rest in peace, Kenneth—your journey here may have ended, but your legacy is eternal.
