Ms. Kathryn Jean Self, age 65 of Snead, passed away Monday, September 16, 2013 in a Birmingham Hospital.

She is survived by her daughter; Amanda Self of Snead, grandchildren; Katrina Self, Kendall Self, Robert Ellis Self, Jr., Kaitlyn Grace Self, Anthony Wood, Brooklyn Wood and Susie Self, daughter in law; Brandi Self of Pinson, brothers; Royce Erwin and his wife Sandra of Athens, TN and Raymond Erwin, Jr. and his wife Lottie of Bibb County, sister in law; Martha Self of Mulga.

Brother J.J. Brothers and Brother Joey Smith will conduct the funeral service in The Chapel of Snead Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 18, 2013 at 11 A.M. Interment will follow in Mt. Moriah Cemetery. Ms. Self will Lie In State, at Snead Funeral Home, Wednesday form 10 A.M. until funeral time.

Pallbearers will be Christopher Bickerstaff, Bruce Bickerstaff, Nathan Gutherie, Stephen Wood, Odis Wilemon, Dan Kelley, Buddy McDaniel, Jerry Doss, Nicholas Hutson, DeWayne Mealer and Race Kelley.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Robert Self, Jr. and Anthony Wood.

Ms. Self is going home to meet her husband; Wayne Gray Self, sons; Robert Ellis Self and David Wayne Self, parents; Raymond and Annie Fern (Epsey) Erwin, and 5 siblings.
