Mary Joyce Decker, 81, born May 21,1942, of the Snead Community, passed away at St. Vincent's Hospital, Birmingham on Wednesday, January 10, 2024 after a courageous health battle.

She is survived by her two sons – Terry Decker, and Keith (Lisa) Decker; grandchildren – Austin Decker, Nolan (Rachel) Decker, and Rachel Decker; and sister – Minnie (Roy) Laughlin.

Mrs. Decker is preceded in death by her husband – Bobby Decker; parents – Willie and Vera Dodd; sisters – June Dodd, Charlcie Harrison, Lela Jean Dodd Green, Betty Mullins, and Sue Bailey; and brothers – Arvel Dodd, Ocie Dodd, Billy Dodd, Charles Dodd, and Wayne Dodd.

Brother Dan Godwin and Brother Robbie Burtram will conduct the Funeral Service on Sunday, January 14, 2024 at 2:00 PM at The Chapel of The Snead Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Ebenezer Cemetery. Mrs. Decker will Lie In Repose, at Snead Funeral Home, Sunday from 12:00 PM until Funeral Time.

Pallbearers will be – Austin Decker, Nolan Decker, Ryan Fowler, Daniel Fowler, Gary Dodd, and Brian Bailey.

Honorary Pallbearers will be – Harold Green, Steve Lindsey, and John Jackson.
