Mrs. Joy Michelle Eakes, age 52 of Horton, passed away Friday, February 5, 2021 at Marshall Medical Center South.

Joy is survived by her husband – Wayne Eakes; sons – Cody Lynn Lett and Sean Michael Lett; grandchildren – Crystian Lett, Billy Wayne Lett, and Kaytee Lett; siblings – Jeff (Tammy) Amos and Lisa Braswell; and a host of extended family and friends that cherished her.

She is preceded in death by her daughter – Tosha LaShea Eakes; parents – Shelton Leon Amos and Brenda Faye (Johnson) Amos; and brother – Ronald Lane Garner.

Brother Joey Kirby will conduct the Funeral Service on Sunday, February 7, 2021 at 2:00 PM at The Chapel of The Snead Funeral Home.  Interment will follow at Dailey's Chapel Cemetery in Rosa.  Mrs. Eakes will Lie-In-Repose, at Snead Funeral Home, Saturday from 5:30 PM until 8:00 PM and Sunday from 12(noon) until Funeral Time.
