Mr. John 'Johnny' Thompson, age 74 of The Wynnville Community, passed away Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at his residence.

He is survived by his wife – Willie Mae (Woods) Thompson; children – Michelle Duckett (Mark), Jerome Thompson, and Jeremy Thompson (Michele); grandchildren – Alisha Roeder (Matt), Bradley McMillen (Devin), Zack Smith (Amanda), Josh Thompson, Chandler Thompson, Xander Laughlin, Brooklynn Thompson, Haley Thompson, Ross Thompson (Sydney), Landen Thompson, and Jaylen Thompson; great grandchildren – Eli Roeder, Tucker McMillen, Ida Mae Smith, Braylee Thompson, Mia Sparks, and Mason Sparks; brother – James 'Tommy' Thompson; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Mr. Thompson is preceded in death by his parents – Nathan and Verrell (Brooks) Thompson; grandparents – Lillard and Elsie Brooks; and sisters – Sarah Kirby Maddox and Carolyn Kirby Turner.

Brother Curtis Hawkins will conduct the Funeral Service on Saturday, October 23, 2021 at 12:00 P.M. at The Chapel of The Snead Funeral Home.  Interment will follow at Mt. Moriah Cemetery.  Mr. Thompson will Lie-In-Repose, at Snead Funeral Home, on Saturday from 10:00 A.M. until Funeral Time.

Pallbearers will be – Bradley McMillen, Zack Smith, Ross Thompson, Chandler Thompson, Josh Thompson, Kenny Thompson, Haley Thompson, Alisha Roeder, and Brooklynn Thompson.

Honorary Pallbearers will be – Jaylen Thompson and Landen Thompson.
