Mr. Johnny Mac Jimmerson, age 63 of Douglas, AL., passed away Monday, January 29, 2018 at Shepherd's Cove Hospice in Albertville, AL.,

He is survived by his loving companion and best friend – Jean Umphrey-Jimmerson of Snead, AL., his son – Samuel Fountaine of Boaz, AL., his daughter and her fiancé – Tammy Fountaine Martin and Gordon Vaughn of Huntsville, AL., his son and daughter-in-law – Daniel and Cherri Fountaine of Douglas, AL., his daughter – Amanda "Niki" Spears of Snead, AL., his son – G.W. Mann of Boaz, AL., his son – Donald H. Mann of Douglas, AL., his grandchildren – Delana Martin, Justin Martin, Austin and Laura Fountaine, Jonathan Fountaine. Jacob Fountaine, Opie Spears, and Ace Spears, his great grandchildren – Halen Williamson, Noah Williamson, Calen Ousley, and Ashton Amos, his brother and sister-in-law – Preston and Dean Jimmerson of Snead, AL., his sister and brother-in-law – Glenda and Jimmy Hill of Douglas, AL., his brother – Randy and Dianne Buckelew of Snead, AL., his brother – George Mann of Snead, AL., his brother – Donald Mann of Boaz, AL., and his sister – Sue Cowart of Chicago, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Mr. Jimmerson is preceded in death by his wife – Nancy Faye Jimmerson, parents – Howard Thomas and Dena (Breasseale) Jimmerson, his brother – Roger Dale Jimmerson, and his father-in-law and mother-in-law – Bill and Elsie Mann.

Brother Houston Cookston and Brother Lynn Buckelew will conduct the Funeral Service Friday, February 2, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at The Chapel of the Snead Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Zion Hill Cemetery. Mr. Jimmerson will Lie In Repose, at Snead Funeral Home, Friday from 12(noon) until Funeral Time.

Pallbearers will be – Phillip Maddox, Austin Fountaine, Opie Spears, Ace Spears, Donald Mann, and Joey West.

Honorary Pallbearers will be – George Mann, Mark Sims, Mike Sims, Jonathan Fountaine, Jacob Fountaine and Tommy Lyles.

A Celebration of Johnny's life for friends and family will be at the home of Danny Fountaine, 8228 US Highway 75, Douglas, AL., on Saturday, February 3, 2018 at 12(noon). Bring your favorite stories of Johnny and a covered dish. Everyone is invited.
