Mr. John Seaton of Oneonta passed away Thursday, December 19, 2013 in Tuscaloosa County at the age of 48.

Mr. Seaton is survived by his wife: Lori Moarn Seaton of Oneonta, his children: Christa Seaton and Kristy Seaton of Oneonta, his father and step mother: John and Barbara Seaton of Snead, his brother and sister in law: Harry and April Wheeler of Oneonta, his sister and brother in law: Sabrena Seaton and Dudley of South Dakota, his mother in law and father in law: Jim and Linda Zabler, and a host of family and friends.

Mr. Seaton is predeceased by his mother and step father: Wanda (Riley) and Larry H. Wheeler, and his grandparents: Etsle and Sarah Riley and Evelyn Shields.

John was a member of Grace Baptist Church of Snead. He was a huge Alabama Football Fan "Roll Tide". He also loved hunting, fishing, and being outdoors.

John was a Godly Man and loved his family and church family. He loved to sing for his church family as much as possible. He will truly be missed by everyone that knew him.

Brother Curtis Hawkins and Brother John Seaton, Sr., will conduct funeral service on Sunday, December 22, 2013 @ 2pm at Grace Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Bethel Cemetery. Mr. Seaton will Lie In State at Grace Baptist Church on Sunday from 12 (noon) until funeral time.

Pallbearers will be: Danny Pearce, Bill Lybrand, David Culp, Donny Culp, Jon Hickerson, and Bruce Eller.
