Mrs. Joann Price Cornelius, age 66 of Susan Moore, AL., passed away Wednesday, February 6, 2019 at her residence.

Mrs. Cornelius retired from Blount County Schools where she was the bus driver for Susan Moore Schools for 22 years.  "Momma Jo" loved all of her bus kids, she especially enjoyed driving for the Susan Moore Bulldog Band.

Mrs. Cornelius is survived by her daughter and son-in-law – Christy and Chris Ward of Susan Moore, AL.; her grandchildren – Dusty Hathcock (Jeffery), Kendall Frost, Allison Frost, Lacie Frost, Kaily Frachiseur, Dennis Frachiseur, Brice Ward, Morgan Ward, Wyatt Ward, Mason Ward, Chrystal Grasso (Thomas), Katlyn Ward, Nathan Frachiseur (Leah), and Jessye Bailey (Zachary); her great grandchildren – Weston Hathcock, Killian Grasso, Presley Bailey, and Kyllian Bailey;  her sister and brother-in-law – Brownie and Joe Franklin of McClarty, AL., her sister – Sue Price of Oneonta, AL., her sister – Jeanette Price of Oneonta, AL., her brother and sister-in-law – David and Donna Price of Oneonta, AL., her sister and brother-in-law – Lavon and George Rough of Huntsville, AL., and her brother and sister-in-law – Robert and Betty Price of Dunlap, GA; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

She is preceded in death by her first husband – Dennis Ray Box, her second husband – Robbie Wayne Cornelius, her daughter – Reba Dean Box Martinez, her parents – Clausson and Mary Lou Price, her brother – W.C. Price, and her sister – Gail Franklin.

Brother Jack Thomason and Brother Keith Franks will conduct the Funeral Service on Saturday, February 9, 2019 at 1:00 PM at the Chapel of The Snead Funeral Home.  Interment will follow at Hendrix / Brown Cemetery.  Mrs. Cornelius will Lie In Repose, at Snead Funeral Home. Saturday from 11:30 AM until Funeral Time.

Pallbearers will be – Rodney Ward, Kevin Roberts, Terry Franklin, Donald Franklin, Tim Franklin, and Tyler Franklin.

Honorary pallbearers will be – Dennis Frachiseur and Tyler Ward.
