Mr. Jimmy Dewayne Whittington, age 56 of the Wynnville Community of Susan Moore, AL. passed away Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at St. Vincent's Blount Hospital.

He is survived by his mother – Darlene Whittington of the Wynnville Community of Susan Moore, AL., his sister and brother-in-law – Susan and Daniel Corkran of Horton, AL., his brother – Harold Whittington of the Wynnville Community of Susan Moore, AL., his brother – Eddie Whittington of the Nixon Chapel Community, his brother – Michael Whittington of the Wynnville Community of Susan Moore, AL., his brother and sister-in-law – Danny and Connie Whittington of the Wilson Chapel Community of Susan Moore, AL., his brother – Tommy Whittington of the Wynnville Community of Susan Moore, AL., and his brother and sister-in-law – Donald and Janice Whittington of the Wynnville Community of Susan Moore, AL.

Mr. Whittington is preceded in death by his father – Alton Whittington, and his grandparents – Ed and Leona Whittington.

Brother Wade Gabel will conduct the funeral service Friday, January 26, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at the Chapel of The Snead Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Wynnville Cemetery. Mr. Whittington will Lie In Repose, at Snead Funeral Home, Thursday from 5:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Friday from 9:00 a.m. until service time.

Pallbearers will be – Orin Cooper, Daniel Corkran, Corey Corkran, Brian Noojin, John Whittington, Blake Stewart and Brandon Whittington.
