Jimmy Dale Price (Thumper)

Jimmy Dale Price, born November 14, 1970, peacefully passed away on November 18, 2025. His departure leaves a profound void in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. Jimmy’s life was one marked by dedication, warmth, and an unyielding love for family.

Jimmy treasured his role as a father and grandfather. He was the loving father of Macey Price, Tristan Price, and Kyra Hernandez, who shares her life with Isaias. His grandchildren brought him immense joy: Jalen Price, Amira Hernandez, Avery Hernandez, and a soon-to-arrive granddaughter who will carry forward his legacy of love and laughter. His extended family was equally important to him, including his brother La'Shone Price, and his nieces and nephews – Brandon Bodine; Breanna Williams (Casey); Mason Price (Olivia) – who, along with great nephews Carter Williams, Cooper Williams, Boston Price, and Truett Price, cherished his spirited presence and kindness.

Jimmy’s love for family extended beyond blood ties; he was known as a fun-loving, approachable, and generous great uncle. Those who spent time with him knew him as an easygoing soul, full of life and spirit, always ready to share a story or a laugh. His roots were deeply planted in the community as well, carrying the pride of being a Susan Moore alumnus.

Professionally, Jimmy was a hardworking truck driver, a career that suited his dependable character and steadfast work ethic. Yet, no matter where his journeys took him, his heart always traveled home to the family he adored.

Jimmy was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Delmas Ray Price and Kathy Jo Osborne Price, his sister Tonya Renea Bodine, and his grandparents Herbert Price (Dicie) and Robert Osborne (Oma). Their memories remain woven into the fabric of his life, guiding and comforting those who remain.

Friends and family are invited to honor Jimmy’s memory at a visitation on November 20, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Snead Funeral Home. Following the visitation, a funeral service will be held in The Chapel of The Snead Funeral Home from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM the same evening.

Jimmy Dale Price’s life was a beacon of love, laughter, and unwavering devotion. His legacy lives on through his children, grandchildren, and all who were fortunate enough to call him family and friend. He will be deeply missed but forever remembered with warmth and affection.
