Mr. Jimmy Ray Howard, of Ashville, Alabama, was born on January 16, 1948, to Earnest W. and Margaret Adeline Long Howard and passed away on May 13, 2025, at the age of 77. He is preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis Howard; his son, Bradford Howard; his daughter, Rhonda Howard; his great grandchildren, Embry Stone and Stetson Hale; his parents; his brother, Earnest Howard, his sister, Margie Howard, and his sister, Joyce Curtis.

Mr. Howard is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Danny and LaVerne Howard; his daughter and son-in-law, Kristi and Glenn Sargent; his daughter, Courtney Charlton; his grandchildren, Terry Forsythe, Tabatha Stone, Tyler Glenn, Trace and Courtney Burgett, Cameron Burgett, Ashley and Anthony McMath, Chase and Rachel Charlton, Aubrey Charlton; his great grandchildren, Kayla, Landon, Cole, Warren, Rylee, Ellie, and Jaxon.

Michael Curtis will conduct the Funeral Service on Saturday, May 17, 2025, at 12:00 pm at Snead Funeral Home.  Interment will follow at Sardis Baptist Church Cemetery in Sardis City.  The family will receive friends, at Snead Funeral Home, on Saturday beginning at 11:00 am.

Tyler Glenn, Cameron Burgett, Chase Charlton, Sean Curtis, Jona Curtis, and Greg Haddix have been asked to serve as Pallbearers.
