Mr. Jimmy Steve Hathcock, age 55 of Cleveland, Alabama, passed away Saturday, October 26, 2024 at Marshall Medical Center South in Boaz, Alabama.

Jimmy embodied kindness and love, evident in every aspect of his life.  He adored his family with unwavering devotion, cherishing his wife Lisa for thirty years.  Together, they nurtured eight children and showered love upon nine grandchildren.  His heart extended to raising chickens, ducks, turkeys, his loyal dog Emmy, and beloved turkey Charlie.  Jimmy's compassion embraced friends and strangers alike.  For twenty-three years, he dedicated himself to Diversicare in Oneonta, selflessly caring for those in need, inspiring hope and warmth in all he touched.  He will truly be missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his wife - Lisa Waters Hathcock; children - Stephen Hathcock (Hannah Allredge), Jeffery (Dusty) Hathcock, Justin (Kimberly) Hathcock, Tyler (Elyssia) Hathcock, Lexi (Zach) Sloan, Jr. Hathcock, Elijah Hathcock, and Leland Hathcock; his grandchildren - Cheyenne Hathcock, Ryland Chappell, Weston Hathcock, Eddie Hathcock, Makena Hathcock, Rhett Hathcock, Clar Sloan, Jackson Hathcock, and chosen granddaughter Alyssa Hathcock; his siblings - Grady "Hotdog" (Teresa) Hathcock, David "Waterhead" (Janice) Hathcock, Charles Lee "Bigboy" Hathcock, Rita (Donald) Winters, and Rhonda (Joey Glenn) Jones; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Jimmy is Preceded in death by his daughter - Destin Waters; his parents - Grady and Eloise (Green) Hathcock; his brother - Larry "Lightning" Hathcock; and his sister-in-law - Wanda Hathcock.

Pallbearers will be Scotty Weston, Travis Weston, Tim Green, Dewayne Green, William Bickerstaff, Derrik Hammett, Eric Thompson, Josh Green, and Chris Nash as Honorary Pallbearer.
