Jimmy Arthur, Jr., 'Jimbo', age 25 of Oneonta, passed away Friday, June 2, 2023 at UAB Hospital.

He is survived by his parents – Jimmy, Sr. & Lori Arthur and Elke Smith; brothers – Mark Smith and Dennis Shorf; sisters – Amanda McDonough, Christa Arthur, and Kristy Arthur; grandparents – Jim and Linda Zabler; aunt – Wendy Arthur; Uncles – Michael Arthur, Jason Shields, and Dallas Ausmus; nephew – Aven McDonough; nieces – Annabella Shorf and Amaya Shorf; cousins – Spencer and Michael Arthur; as well as a host of extended family and friends.

Jimmy is preceded in death by his grandparents – Richard & Neva McDonough, and Bob & Barbara Bowen and uncle – Sean Arthur.

Brother Curtis Hawkins will conduct the Funeral Service on Sunday, June 4, 2023 at 3:00 PM at The Chapel of The Snead Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Bethel Cemetery.  The family will receive friends, at Snead Funeral Home, Sunday from 1:00 PM until Funeral Time.

Pallbearers will be – Jimmy Arthur, Sr., Jason Shields, Steve Moarn, Dennis Shorf, Mark Smith, and Lance Edwards.
