Mrs. Jewel Jean Jenkins, age 82 of Horton, AL., passed away at her residence Monday, September 26, 2016.

Mrs. Jenkins is survived by her husband - John A. Jenkins of Horton; her daughter and son-in-law - Rhonda and Ron Maples; her daughter and son-in-law - Brenda and Rick Mann; her daughter and son-in-law - Glenda and Chuck Hill; her daughter and son-in-law - Sherri and Curtis Strange; her son and daughter-in-law - Tim and Donna Jenkins; her daughter - June Downs; her special niece - Lois Bennett; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents - John Henry and Lula Hall Harlston; 3 sisters, 3 brothers, and special nephew - Bvoyd Harlston.

Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, September 28, 2016 at 11:00am at The Chapel of the Snead Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Jenkins will lie in repose at Snead Funeral Home Tuesday from 5:30pm - 8:00pm.

Brad Hill, Alan Downs, Rodney Maples, Ryan Maples, Bud Dennis, Randy Harris, Scott Bailey, Mike Smith, and Evan Hill will serve as pallbearers.
