Mrs. Jessie Lee (Green) Evans, age 85 of Horton, passed away Monday, May 30, 2022 at her residence.

She is survived by her children – Sandra Bowman, Carolyn Rowland, Linda Christie (Bill), David Evans (Sandi), Amy Scarbarry (David), Donna LaRue (Ray), Larry Evans, and Michael Evans (Sonya); a host of grandchildren; a host of great grandchildren; a host of great-great grandchildren; sisters – Patricia Smith (Jack) and Dorothy Caputo; as well as a host of nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Evans is preceded in death by her husband – Jessie William Evans; son – Roger Dale Evans, grandson – Billy Ray LaRue, great grandchildren – Mason Jarrett and Faithlynn Blankenshipp; sons-in-law – Michael Bowman and David Rowland; parents – Robert Lee and Ozzy Mae (Bolding) Green, 2 brothers, and 3 sisters.

Pastor Chris Gortney will conduct the Funeral Service on Thursday, June 2, 2022 at 2:00 PM at The Chapel of The Snead Funeral Home.  Interment will follow at Bethel Cemetery.  Mrs. Evans will Lie In Repose, at Snead Funeral Home, Thursday from 1:00 PM until Funeral Time.

Pallbearers will be her family.
