Mr. Jessie William Evans, age 81 of Brooksville, passed away Tuesday, April 23,2013 at Cullman Regional Medical Center.

He proudly served in The United States Merchant Marines and was preceeded in death by his son; Roger Dale Evans, grandson; Billy Ray LaRue, parents; Jessie William, Sr. and Dovie Alberta (Chester) Evans, and sister; Alice Perkins.

Mr. Evans is survived by his wife; Jessie Lee Evans; children; Sandra Bowman and husband Michael of Empire, Carolyn Rowland and husband David of Albertville, Linda Christie and husband Bill of Blountsville, David Evans and wife Sandi of Boaz, Amy Scarberry and husband David of Joppa, Donna LaRue and husband Ray of Brooksville, Larry Evans of Brooksville, Michael Evans and wife Kim of Blountsville, 20 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, brother; Lemar "Skeet" Evans and wife Rachel of Dora, and Neil Jones of Illinois.

Brother Dale Murphy will conduct the funeral service, in the Chapel of Snead Funeral Home, Thursday, April 25, 2013 at 11 A.M. Interment will follow in Bethel Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from 11 A.M. until funeral time.

Pallbearers will be Danny Brand, Chase Evans, Steven LaRue, James Bush, Wade Isbell and Lynn Cook.
