Mr. Jerry Eugene Jones, age 73 of Ashville, AL., passed away Thursday, August 9, 2018 at St. Vincent East Hospital.

He is survived by his wife - Donn Jones of Ashville, AL., his daughter and son-in-law - Darlene and Kenny Handley of Brooksville, AL., his daughter and son-in-law - Amy and Tommy Adderholt of Cullman, AL., his daughter - Patti Jones of Oneonta, AL.,, his daughter - Veronica Hardy of Oneonta, AL., 17 grandchildren, a host of great grandchildren, his sister and brother-in-law - Martha and Ronald Brothers of Steele, AL., and his sister and brother-in-law - Patsy and Ray Layfield of Steele, AL.

Mr. Jones is preceded in death by his daughter - Lisa Millwood, his grandson - Richard Lindsey, his granddaughter - Stacy Handley, his great granddaughter - Emily Michelle Tankersly, his parents - Herman and Jewel (Colley) Jones, and 7 siblings.

Austin Humphrey and Tony Adderholt will conduct the Funeral Service on Sunday, August 12, 2018 at 3:00 PM at The Chapel of The Snead Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Altoona / Walnut Grove Cemetery.  Mr. Jones will Lie In Repose, at Snead Funeral Home, Sunday from 3:00 PM until service time.

Pallbearers will be - Kenny Handley, Tommy Adderholt, Tony Drexel, Shane Oakley, Christopher Humphrey, Austin Humphrey, Alan Oakley, Ben Drexel, Kyle Nichols, and Matthew Thomas.
