Those who knew Jane understood that family meant everything to her, and the love she shared across generations will remain her most treasured legacy.

Jane Whitley will be remembered as a woman whose life was defined by her unwavering devotion to family, her faith, and her deep passion for the things she loved. Her family was always her greatest priority, and she gave them a lifetime of love, care, and steadfast commitment. Those who knew Jane understood that family meant everything to her, and the love she shared across generations will remain her most treasured legacy.

Jane was a lifelong member of Pleasant Grove Church, where her faith and love for Jesus were at the center of her life. She faithfully served her church alongside her family and shared her musical talents by playing the piano for well over 50 years, continuing until her fingers would no longer allow her to play. Her years of service, dedication, and devotion to her church family were a reflection of the deep faith she carried throughout her life.

Jane also had a special love for Red Angus cattle, a passion that became an important part of her life. She generously shared her time, experience, and knowledge while serving as a Director of the Red Angus Association of America. Beyond her family, faith, and cattle, Jane found great enjoyment in sports. She especially loved watching her grandson and great-grandchildren play basketball, taking pride in their accomplishments and cheering them on. She was also a devoted Auburn Tigers fan, and her enthusiasm for her team brought an extra measure of excitement and personality to those around her.

Jane is survived by her sons, Jimmy Whitley (Kathy) and Tim Whitley; her grandson, James Ray Whitley (Natalie); and her great-grandchildren, Jackson Henry Whitley, Rayna Whitley, and Max Whitley. Her love, guidance, and the memories she created will live on in each of them and in the generations that follow.
