Mr. James Harold Shelton, age 77 of Arab, AL., passed away Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at Crossville Nursing and Rehab.

He is survived by his daughter – Fran Shelton of Albertville, AL., his son – Harold Shelton of Snead, AL., his daughter – Ann Renee Shelton of Texas, his daughter – Heather Shelton of Altoona, AL., his grandchildren – Ethan McKee, Matthew Shelton, LyWayne Miller, Randall Thompson, Justin Shelton and Jessie Shelton, 8 great grandchildren, his sister and brother-in-law – Doris Jean "Jeannie" and Doug Hammack of Albertville, AL., his brother and sister-in-law – ML and Julia Shelton of Snead, AL., his brother and sister-in-law – Keith and Ann Shelton of Brooksville, AL., his brother and sister-in-law – Larry and Charlie Ann Shelton of Summit, AL.,  his sister and brother-in-law – Barbara and Richard Flack of Shady Grove, AL., and his sister and brother-in-law – Laura Joan and Jim Foster of Arab, AL.

Mr. Shelton is preceded in death by his daughter – Renee Shelton, his parents – Jessie Arnett and Lorene (Moon) Shelton, and his brother – Jessie Arnett Shelton, Jr.

Brother Keith Howell will conduct the Funeral Service on Friday, May 25, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at The Chapel of The Snead Funeral Home.  Interment will follow at Brooksville Cemetery.  Mr. Shelton will Lie In Repose, at Snead Funeral Home, Friday from 12 (noon) until service time.

Pallbearers will be – LyWayne Miller, Matthew Shelton, David Collier, Daniel Collier, Dean Shelton, and Dale Shelton.
