Mr. James Todd Morton, age 53 of Snead, AL., passed away Friday, April 22, 2016 at UAB Hospital.

Mr. Morton was a loving and caring husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He was a fifteen year kidney transplant survivor given to him by his sister-in-law Tonya Wilson.

Todd is survived by his wife - Tina Floyd Morton of Snead, AL.; his daughter and son-in-law - Tiffany and Chad McAnnally of the Nixon Chapel Community; his grandson - Jaythan McAnnally; his siblings - Terry and Tyra Morton of the Mountain Top Community, Jamie and Earl Honea of Anniston, AL., and Jeff and Tracie Morton of Anniston, AL., his stepmom - Denise Morton of Anniston, AL; his father-in-law - Tommy Floyd; his sister-in-law and her husband - Tonya and Riley Wilson; and his sister-in-law and her husband - Tammy and Phillip Brewer of Snead, AL.

He is preceded in death by his mom - Anna Gail Morton; his dad - James Melvin Morton; his mother-in-law - Katie Floyd; and a special friend - Gene Alexander.

Robbie Burtram, Don Garrison, and Curtis Hawkins will conduct the funeral service Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at 11:00am at Grace Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Bethel Cemetery. Mr. Morton will lie in repose at Snead Funeral Home Monday from 5:30pm until 8:00pm and Tuesday from 8:30am until 10:30am.

Earl Sims, Gary Floyd, Robert Steele, Ray LaRue, David Holland, David Evans, Mike Hunter, and Austin Decker will service as pallbearers.
