Mr. James Harold Martin, age 77 of Oneonta, passed away Saturday, February 26, 2022, at his residence.

Mr. Martin was married to the love of his life for 57 years and was a member of Fairview Missionary Baptist Church on Straight Mountain.

He is survived by his wife – Geneva 'Nita' Martin; sons – Darryl Martin (Sandra) and Wade Martin (Debbie); grandchildren – Michael Martin (Sarah), Brittney Adcock (Hank, Jr.), and Crista Martin; great grandchildren – Cayden, Kenzie, Tremble, Bella, Riley, John, and Peyton; siblings – Enoch Mitchell Martin (Lynn), Dee Kreider (Jim), and Ronald Armstrong (Alice); as well as a host of nieces and nephews.

Mr. Martin is preceded in death by his parents – E.C. and Hattie Ever (Armstrong) Martin; and siblings – Buddy Martin, Lavern Chrisman, and Pernie Williams.

Brother Jeff Dailey, Brother Aubrey Glasscock, and Brother Darryl Martin will conduct the Funeral Service on Wednesday, March 2, 2022 at 11:00 AM at The Chapel of The Snead Funeral Home.  Interment will follow at New Lebanon Cemetery in Blountsville.  Mr. Martin will Lie In Repose, at Snead Funeral Home, Tuesday from 5:30 PM until 8:00 PM and Wednesday from 9:00 AM until Funeral Time.

Pallbearers will be – Michael Martin, Hank Adcock, James Adcock, Trent Martin, Jason Kreider, Tony Mardis, Keith Mardis, Zachary Graves, and Nicholas Graves.
