Mr. James "Bo" Kornegay, age 80, of Altoona, AL, passed away Wednesday, July 4, 2018 at his residence.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years – Jeannette Kornegay of Altoona, AL., his son and daughter-in-law – Rodney and Selina Kornegay of Athens, AL., his son and daughter-in-law – Scott and Angie Kornegay of Altoona, AL., his grandson Collin Kornegay, his brother – Bill Kornegay of Oneonta, AL., and his sister – Louise Long of Snead, AL.

Mr. Kornegay is preceded in death by his parents – James Homer and Thelma (Thompson) Kornegay, and his siblings – Rufus Kornegay, Bessie Ridgeway, Ann Thomas, Jim Kornegay, Wayne Kornegay, Bobbie Jean Debter, and Roscoe Kornegay.

Brother Danny Skillman will conduct the Funeral Service on Thursday, July 5, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. from the graveside at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Altoona, with Snead Funeral Home Directing.  The family will receive friends, at Snead Funeral Home, Thursday from 10:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M.

Pallbearers will be the Mt. Carmel Neighborhood Watch Association Members.

In Lieu Of Flowers the family asks that donations be made to the Mt. Carmel Cemetery Fund.
