Mr. James Douglas "Doug" Ginn, age 75 of the Wynnville Community of Altoona, AL., passed away Monday, April 16, 2018 at his residence.

Mr. Ginn served his country in The United States Army form 1962-1966 and was a Boilermaker by trade.  He loved his family dearly and enjoyed playing with babies and children.  Mr. Ginn was a simple man who was happy and loved to laugh, but his favorite hobby was riding his motorcycles.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years - Brenda Ginn of the Wynnville Community of Altoona, AL., his son and daughter-in-law - Chad and Crissy Ginn of Albertville, AL., his son and daughter-in-law - Brian and Jennie Ginn of the Wynnville Community of Altoona, AL., his grandchildren - Jordan Ginn, Amber Mason, and Alleigh Wilkerson, and his great grandson - Tanner Jackson Mason.

Mr. Ginn is preceded in death by his father - Jim Frank Ginn, his mother - Aleta (Howton) Garner, his sister - Frances Brasher, and his brother - Gerald Ginn.

Brother Dan Boatman will conduct the Funeral Service on Thursday, April 19, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. from The Chapel of The Snead Funeral Home.  Interment will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens at 1:00 P.M.  Mr. Ginn will lie in repose, at Snead Funeral Home, Wednesday from 5:30 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and Thursday from 9:00 A.M. until funeral time.
