Mr. James Joseph Clemons, age 71 of Blountsville, passed away Thursday, May 4, 2023 at his residence.

He is survived by his children – Shelley Earl (Dan), Christy Vincent (Tim), Makayla Walker (Alex), Christopher Clemons, and James Joseph Clemons, Jr.; grandchildren – Justin, Ayden, Danica, Caitlin, Cameron, and Delilah; 6 great grandchildren.

Mr. Clemons is preceded in death by his wife – Patricia Clemons; great granddaughter – Isabella Valdez; parents – Joseph Henry and Emily Hazel (Foss) Clemons; and brother – Robert Clemons.

Brother Chuck Knight will conduct the Funeral Service on Saturday, May 6, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Douglas First Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Hood Cemetery. Mr. Clemons will Lie In Repose, at the church, Saturday from 11:00 AM until Funeral Time.

Pallbearers will be – Tim Vincent, Ayden Vincent, Daniel Earl, Justin Lockhart, Jimmy Gill, Bubba Gill, Alex Walker, and Nicholas Bryant.
