Mr. James "Bone" Campbell, age 79 of Snead, passed away on Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at his residence.

Mr. Campbell served in the United States Army and worked 41 years as a garment cutter in the Garment Industry. He was a Volunteer Fire Fighter & Fire Chief for the Town of Snead and served many years as a Councilman on the Snead Town Council.

James is survived by his wife Louise Gibbs Campbell of Snead; his children Susan & Kevin Dunn of Blountsville and Rhonda Hitt of Snead. He is also survived by his grandchildren Blake Hitt of Locust Fork, Ryan Dunn of Blountsville, BrookeLen Dunn of Blountsville, Joy & Brannon Smith of Trafford, and Mitchell & Connie Hitt of Pinson; great grandchildren Derrick Smith of Trafford, Natalie Smith of Trafford, and Maverick Hitt of Pinson; and brothers J.W. & Marilyn Campbell of Snead and Roger Campbell of Snead.

Mr. Campbell is preceded in death by his parents Jessie Leo & Willie Mary Wright Campbell and siblings George Campbell and LeGrand Campbell.

Funeral Service will he held Friday, February 27, 2015 @ 1pm at the Chapel of Snead Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Mr. Campbell will lie in state at Snead Funeral Home on Friday from 9:00am until funeral time.

Pallbearers: Mitchell Hitt, Blake Hitt, Ryan Dunn, Ron Tuck, Drew Campbell, Frank Gibbs, Jimmy Gibbs, and Jonathan Campbell.
