She is survived by her children: Mary Sue and Carl Hancock, Billy Mardis, Betty adn Bueford Morse, Charlie Ann and Lary Shelton.

Grandchildren: Michael and Kim Morse, Tonya and Jeff Weaver, Sharlene and Terry Shell, Denise and Jeff Hood, Dale and Christy Shelton, Dean Sandy Shelton, Amy and Richie Earl, Brandy Shelton

Clem Adams conducted funeral service on Sunday, October 31, 2010 at 2pm from The Chapel of The Snead Funeral Home with interment in the Summit Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Dean Shelton, Dale Shelton, Richie Earl, Terry Shell, Jeff Hood, Dalton Shelton, Michael Morse.

Mrs. Mardis is preceded in death by her husband: Arnett Mardis; Grandson: Ricky Morse; Parents: Joseph Walton and Tessora Beatrice (Ogletree) Hinds; Siblings: John Edgar Hinds, Joseph Waldon Hinds, Jefferson Montgomery Hinds, James Claburn Hinds.
