Mrs. Ima Lou Reeves, age 89 of Snead, AL., passed away Tuesday, October 31, 2017 at her residence.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law – Johnnie and Rhonda Reeves of Snead, AL., her daughter – Joan Estell Brothers of the Chandler Mountain Community, her daughter – Brenda Sue Irvin of Snead, AL., her son and daughter-in-law – James Arnold and Betty Reeves the Straight Mountain Community of Oneonta, AL., her daughter and son-in-law – Florance Ann and Donny Chambless of Altoona, AL., her daughter – Shelley Chambless of Walnut Grove, AL., her daughter-in-law – Janice Reeves of Attalla, AL., 26 grandchildren, a host of great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, her brother and sister-in-law – Leroy and Bea Laminack of Springville, AL., her sister and brother-in-law –Leanett and Vernon Allen of Blountsville, AL., her sister and brother-in-law – Levon and Jerrel Jordon of Attalla, AL., her brother-in-law – Wayne Deweese of Gadsden, AL., her sister-in-law – Peggy Laminack of Arab, AL., and her sister-in-law – Bonita Laminack of Susan Moore, AL.

Mrs. Reeves is preceded in death by her husband – Hobert Alvin Reeves; her children – Jackie Dean Reeves, Sarah Lou Massey, Patricia Gail Smith and Janet Rebecca Battles; her parents – Allen and Eula Laminack; her sister – Wanda Deweese, her brothers – Earl Wayne Laminack, and John Allen Laminack.

Brother Bill Rucker and Brother Alvin Turner will conduct the Funeral Service on Thursday, November 2, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Union Grove #2 Church in Old Snead, with Snead Funeral Home directing. Interment will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery on Straight Mountain. Mrs. Reeves will lie in repose, at the church, Wednesday from 5:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until service time.

Pallbearers will be – Michael Smith, A.J. Hansard, Bubba Hansard, Jeremiah Smith, Taylor Reeves and Cody Scott.
