Mr. Howard Wayne Towns, age 65 of Douglas, passed away Sunday, March 17, 2013 at his residence.

He is the son of William D. and Evelyn (Morton) Towns, he proudly served his county in The United States Army and was a member of Lighthouse Of Praise and Hope Church.

Mr. Towns is survived by his wife; Rhonda Kay Towns, son; Shawn Ray Towns of Sardis; brothers; Joe Towns of Trenton, GA, Frank Towns and wife Mary of Douglas, David Towns and wife Glenda of Crossville, and Roger Towns of Mt. Hebron, sisters; Mary Privett of Blountsville, Maggie Black of Anniston, Ruby Green of Boaz, and Audrey Gibbs and husband Wendell of St. Mountain, a host of nieces and nephews and a host of great-nieces and nephews.

Brother Tim Green and Brother Jimmy Thompson will conduct the Funeral Service Wednesday, March 19, 2013 at 2 P.M. in the Chapel of Snead Funeral Home. Interment to follow in Wynnville Cemetery. The family will receive friends, at Snead Funeral Home, Monday from 5:30 P.M. until 8 P.M. and Tuesday from 8 A.M. until funeral time.

Pallbearers will be Grant Alldredge, Tommy Lee, Harold McClung, Jr., Johnny Jaques, Hunter McClung, Phillip Fant, Eric Tawbush.

Mr. Towns is going home to meet his parents William D. and Evelyn (Morton) Towns.
