Mrs. Hazel Wigley LaRue, 84, of Bessemer, Alabama, formerly of Susan Moore, Alabama,  passed away Wednesday, December 4, 2024. She was born in 1942 to her parents, Lemie and Kathleen Stevenson Wigley.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Gene LaRue, her parents, and her brother Vernon Eldred Wigley.

She is survived by her nieces, Kim D. Shirley and Brandy Wigley, sister-in-law Shirley Wigley, aunt Mildred Stevenson Holmes, a great niece, a great nephew, and many cousins and friends.

Hazel was a dedicated employee at Guaranty Pest control for 40 years.

Mrs. LaRue will be laid to rest on Saturday, December 7, 2024 at 11:00 AM during a Graveside Service at Gibbs Chapel Cemetery in Snead, Alabama.
