Obituary

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our sweet Maxwell "Graham" Bailey, age 15 of Altoona, AL on Sunday, October 6, 2024. His funeral service will be held Saturday, October 12, 2024 at his home church Mountain View Baptist at 2pm. Church address is 2131 Mtn. View Church Rd. Altoona, Al 35952. He will be laid to rest at the Bethel Church Cemetery in Snead, AL following the service. The service will be officiated by Brother John Hutchens and Graham's favorite uncle, Brother David Jackson. Pallbearers will be Connor Bailey, Seth Jackson, Cody Hopkins, Dallas Bell, Jaxon Hamby, Kyle Mayo, and Caleb Mayo. We will receive family beginning at 11am and friends at 12pm until the time of service. Graham is survived by his parents Brian and Kristy Bailey, big brother Connor(Kourtney), big sisters Ashley and McKenzie, his favorite little boys; nephews Asher and Jonah. Aunt Misty and Uncles Dave and Adam. Cousins; Seth, Abbie(Cody), Shelby, Bella, AnnaGrace, Dallas, Skyy, Harli(Hunter,Koen), and Allissa (and family). Grandparents; Randy and Nancy Bailey, Annette Kent, and Paulette Graham. As well as his beloved church family and many friends. He is preceded in death by his brother Beau and his grandparents, Susan and Barry Maxwell. He was always Poppa's baby.

Graham was known for his ever-present smile and kind spirit. He was a true light to all those around him. Despite the hardships he faced at such a young age, Graham's faith and unwavering happiness shone brightly. You would never know the challenges he faced or the struggles he went through. He approached each day with a contagious smile, he was an inspiration to all who knew him. His ability to always make you laugh or smile, even during the most difficult times, is a testament to his loving heart. All he wanted was for everyone dear to him to be happy. Such a sweet soul that could teach us all about unconditional love.

Words cannot describe the loss we feel in our hearts. Graham will forever be missed by his family, friends, and church. Our lives will never be the same without him, but we find comfort in knowing he is fully healed in the loving arms of Jesus. Graham is no longer bound and is now running up and down the streets of gold!

In this time of unmatched sorrow, we hold onto the hope of eternal life and the promise of reuniting with our precious Graham one sweet day in Heaven.
