Mr. Gordon Lee Lyles, 88 of McClarty, Alabama, passed away on Sunday, April 20, 2025.  He was born on November 14, 1936, to Delbert Lee and Carnice Rhodes Lyles. Gordon was preceded in death by his parents and his son, Randy Lee Lyles.

Mr. Lyles is survived by his wife of 70 years, the love of his life, Bonnie Peterson Lyles; his son and daughter-in-law, Allen M. (Marty) and Cynthia Lyles; his granddaughters and grandsons-in-law, Shanna and Barry Mashburn, Alecia and Brooks Hamilton, and Paige and Keith Hutchens; his great grandchildren, Bryar and Lily Mashburn, and Jessi, Luke, and Cole Hutchens; and his step great grandchildren, Braci Gatlin and Brett Hamilton.

Brother David Poole will conduct the Funeral Service on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Pleasant Grove Methodist Church.  Interment will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery.  The family will receive friends, at Pleasant Grove Methodist Church, on Wednesday beginning at 10:00 a.m.

Brooks Hamilton, Barry Mashburn, Keith Hutchens, Bryar Mashburn, Luke Hutchens, and Cole Hutchens have been asked to serve as Pallbearers.
