Mr. Glenn Blackwood, age 62 of Snead, passed away Sunday, March 30, 2014 at his residence.


Mr. Blackwood is survived by his wife: Mary Poe Blackwood of Snead

Son: Robby (Lorna) Blackwood of Cullman

Daughter: Fallon Blackwood of Snead

Stepson: Charles Carper of California

Stepdaughter: Amie (Robert) Henson of Altoona

Stepson: Kevin Williams of Blountsville

Stepson: Kyle Williams of Snead

Grandchildren: Magen Blackwood, Emma Henson, Isaiah Henson, and Jacey Payne.

Great Grandson: Jack Payne

Mother:  Alice Ruth (Osborne) Blackwood

Siblings: Sandra (Robbie) Bryan of Susan Moore
Glenda Blackwood of Snead

Host of Nieces and Nephews

Glenn is predeceased by his father: Elton Leon Blackwood.

Rickey Kimbel will conduct the service at 1:00pm on Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at Antioch Church of Christ in Snead.  Interment will follow at Antioch Cemetery.

Pallbearers will by Tommy Skillman, JJ Long, Kevin Williams, Buddy Belvin, Michael Rains, and Gary Ellison.

Glenn Elton Blackwood was an avid Horseman.  He loved farming and gardening but most of all he loved his family.
