Mr. James Glendon 'Glen' Barton, age 83 of Altoona passed away Sunday, July 4, 2021 at Altoona Health and Rehab.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years – Marie Tidwell Barton; sons – Randy Barton and David Barton; grandson – Jeremy Barton; siblings – Max Barton (Glenda), Melba McCurley (Joe), and Ted Barton (Trina); as well as a host of nieces and nephews.

Mr. Barton is preceded in death by his daughter-in-law – Kasia Barton; parents – J.T. and Elzie (Watkins) Barton; sisters – Doris Jean Beachum (E.J.) and Thelma Jo Beatty; nieces – Nancy Polk and Martha Whitworth.

Brother Dustin Taylor, Brother Max Barton and Brother Bruce Barton will conduct the Funeral Service on Saturday, July 10, 2021 at 1:00 P.M. at the Chapel of The Snead Funeral Home.  Interment will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Old Snead.  Mr. Barton will Lie-In-Repose, at Snead Funeral Home, Saturday from 11:00 A.M. until Funeral Time.

Pallbearers will be - Jeremy Barton, Jackson Barton, Mike Parker, Tim McCurley, Brent Barton, and Brian Barton.
