Mr. George Perry Roberts, age 85 of Snead, AL, passed away Friday, August 9, 2024 at his residence.

He is survived by his wife – Carol Jean Roberts; children – Kathy Short (Tommy) and George Perry Roberts, Jr. (Gina); grandchildren – Christopher Short (Emily), Kara Short, Emily Roberts, and Natalie Roberts; and great grandson – Noah Short.

Mr. Roberts is preceded in death by is parents – George E. and Kathleen (Pendley) Roberts.

Funeral Service will be Tuesday, August 13, 2024 at 2:00 PM at The Abby Mausoleum Chapel at Jefferson Memorial Gardens, with Snead Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends, at Snead Funeral Home, Monday from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM. and at The Abby Chapel Mausoleum at Jefferson Memorial Gardens from 1:00 PM until Funeral Time.
