Mr. George Houston Cuzzort, of Snead, Alabama, passed away Wednesday, October 30, 2013 at his residence.

George is survived by his wife: Sue Arnold Cuzzort, his sons: Mike Letcher (Mary), Greg Cuzzort (Janie), Don Cuzzort (Barbara), grandchildren: Mark Cuzzort (Allison), Amy Cuzzort, Courtney Tielking, Ashley Tielking, and Kairi Woods.

Brother Herb Robertson, Brother Joey Smith, and Amy Cuzzort will conduct funeral service at 11:00am Saturday, November 2, 2013 at Snead First United Methodist Church. Interment will follow at Altoona-Walnut Grove Cemetery. Mr. Cuzzort will Lie In State at Snead Funeral Home on Friday from 5:30pm until 8:00pm and Saturday at the Church from 10:00am until funeral time.

Mr. Cuzzort served his County in The United States Navy and was a member of Snead First United Methodist Church.

George was a man of self discipline and had a strong work ethic, but a person of great faith and fairness, and foremost a loving husband and father. He was a man with an acute and dry sense of humor who loved life and loved to laugh. He accepted joy and hardship, health and debilitating illness with equal grace and serenity. He was a person of wisdom and judgement whose life was an example for his children and grandchildren. George was a loving and kind human being.

Mr. Cuzzort is predeceased by his parents: George Houston, Sr. and Ada Woods Cuzzort, 2 brothers and 2 sisters.
