Mrs. Gennette Redding Cox, age 72 of Horton, passed away Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at Albertville Nursing and Rehab.

She is survived by her children – Allen (Stacey) Hamby, Kim (Joey) Hathcock, Melissa Johnson, and Allen Cox; 11 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; siblings – Annette Horton, Verla Smith (J.R.), and Charles Redding.

Mrs. Cox is preceded in death by her husband – Arlie David Cox; parents – Buck and Emma Estelle (Hudgins) Redding; and siblings – Donna Barnett, Glenda Brock, Edward Redding, Bobby Redding, and Danny Ray Redding.

Brother J.R. Smith will conduct the Funeral Service on Sunday, January 30, 2022 at 1:00 PM at The Chapel of The Snead Funeral Home.  Interment will follow at Rock Springs Cemetery.  Mrs. Cox will Lie-In-Repose, at Snead Funeral Home, Sunday from 12:00 PM until Funeral Time.

Pallbearers will be – Jerrod Hope, Zain Gregg, Bernie Clark, Bruce Zanders, Lamar Bramlett, and Aaron Wafler.
