Mrs. Geneva 'Nita' Martin, age 76 of Oneonta, passed away Saturday, May 25, 2024 at UAB hospital in Birmingham.

She is survived by her sons – Darryl Martin (Sandra) and Wade Martin (Debbie); grandchildren – Michael Martin (Sarah), Brittney Adcock (Hank), and Crista Martin; great grandchildren – Cayden, Kenzie, Tremble, Riley, Bella, and John; siblings – Barbara Mardis (Wesley) and Brenda England (Randy); as well as a host of nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Martin is preceded by her husband – James 'Butch' Martin; her parents – Cecil Denton and Aileen (Baldwin) Martin; and an infant brother.

Brother Shane Bryson, Brother Jeff Dailey, Brother Aubrey Glasscock, and Brother Darryl Martin will conduct the Funeral Service on Wednesday, May 29, 2024 at 11:00 AM at The Chapel of The Snead Funeral Home. Burial will follow at New Lebanon Cemetery. The family will receive friends, at Snead Funeral Home, Tuesday from 5:30 PM until 8:00 PM and Wednesday from 10:00 AM until Funeral Time.

Pallbearers will be – Michael Martin, Tony Mardis, Mitchell Martin, James Adcock, David Plasil, Marshall Mardis, Hayden Jackson, and Hank Adcock.
