Mr. Gene Tadlock, age 86 of Boaz, AL., passed away on Monday, July 6, 2015 at Marshall Medical Center South.

Mr. Tadlock was a member of Westside Baptist Church of Boaz and married to Louise Brown Tadlock for 64 years.

He is survived by his wife: Louise Brown Tadlock of Boaz, AL.; his daughter and son-in-law: Judy & Timothy Atkins of Sheffield, AL.; his grandchildren: Christopher & Malea Atkins of Moulton, AL., Jason & Tracie Carpenter of Susan Moore, AL., and Joy & Brad Welker of Tennessee; his great grandchildren: Blaxton Atkins, Lillie Atkins, Hanna Carpenter, Harley Carpenter, Meagan Welker, and Carson Welker; and his sister: Betty Cox of Snead, AL.

Gene is predeceased in death by his: parents: Hillard Alfred & Sarah Eller Henderson Tadlock; and his siblings: Verlon Tadlock and Louise Osborn.

Otis Epps will conduct the funeral service on Thursday, July 9, 2015 @ 11am at the Chapel of Snead Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Bethel Cemetery Cemetery. Mr. Tadlock will lie in state at Snead Funeral Home on Thursday from 10am until funeral time.

Chris Atkins, Jason Carpenter, Brad Welker, Phillip Brown, Jeffery Brown, and Michael Osborn will serve has pallbearers.
