Mr. Gary Timmerman, age 68 of Horton, passed away Friday, April 10, 2020 at Marshall Medical Center South in Boaz.

He is survived by his wife – Joyce Timmerman; his son – David Timmerman (Kristy); his daughter – Katie Kretzschmar (Jake); his daughter – Stephanie Scarbrough (Scott); his daughter Tonya Cornett (Heath); his grandchildren – Jordan McGeorge (Taylor), Taylor "Taylor Girl" Dodgen (Joshua), Zoee "Little Tonya" Cornett, Jett Cornett, and Hannah Kretzschmar; his great grandchildren – Braylee and Knoxx; his brother – Roger Dale Timmerman (Karen); his nieces and nephews – Rita Roy (Ronnie), Denise Meade and Earl, Rusty Timmerman (Kay), Gary Lynn "Big Bub" Timmerman, Larry "Litl' Bub" Timmerman, Ashleigh Timmerman, and Angela Syrowatka; as well as a host of precious great nieces and great nephews.

Mr. Timmerman is preceded in death by his parents – Arthur Goody and Ruby (Bates) Timmerman; and his brothers and sisters-in-law – J.S. and Judy Timmerman and W.A. and Jerry Timmerman.

Brother Tony Myrick conducted the Private Funeral Service from The Graveside at Hood Cemetery on Tuesday, April 14, 2020 at 2:00 P.M.

His family served as his pallbearers.

The family will host a public Celebration of Life at a later date.
