Mr. Fred James Taylor, age 85 of Blountsville, AL., passed away Thursday, February 1, 2018 at Cullman Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Taylor was married to the love of his life, Earlene Taylor, for 61 years, he served his country in The United States Army. One of his biggest joys were his grandchildren and great grandchildren and he loved having company visit him.
He is survived by his wife – Earlene Taylor of Blountsville, AL., his son and daughter-in-law – Hugh Don and Heather Taylor of Attalla, AL., his daughter and son-in-law – Darlene and Harmon Lisenby of Alabaster, AL., his daughter and son-in-law – Jane and Lane Pettit of Brooksville, AL., his grandchildren – Christi and Mike Ball, Becky and Josh Drummond, Mandie and Miguel Camarillo, Jamie Pettit, Elizabeth and Brandon Robinson, Meagan Pettit, and Andrea Rowe, 15 great grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren, his brother and sister-in-law - David and Betty Taylor of Blountsville, AL., his brother and sister-in-law –Glen and Janice Taylor of Nectar, AL.
Mr. Taylor is preceded in death by his parents – D. and Viderlee (Allen) Taylor and his brother and sister-in-law – Selmer Joe and Grace Taylor.
Brother Curtis Alexander will conduct the Funeral Service Sunday, February 4, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. at The Chapel of the Snead Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Liberty Hill Cemetery. Mr. Taylor will Lie In Repose, at Snead Funeral Home, Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until service time.
Pallbearers will be – Mickey Taylor, Lane Pettit, Harmon Lisenby, Derek Colburn, Josh Drummond, and Russell Taylor.
