Mr. Frank J. Towns, age 81 of Douglas, passed away Monday, May 29, 2023 at Marshall Medical Center North.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years – Mary Ruth Towns; children – Waylon (Angel) Towns, Tanya (Tommy) Lee, and Mary Ellen (Chris) Christian; grandchildren – Dalton Towns, Emily Towns, Alex Lee, and Isaac Lee; siblings – Roger Towns, Maggie Black, Ruby Green, and Audrey Gibbs; special friends – Melanie Bouyer, and Reverend Cedric and Laquita King & family; as well as a host of extended family and friends.

Mr. Towns is preceded in death by his son – Gerald Towns; parents – William Dee and Evelyn Towns; and siblings – Joe Allen Towns, David Towns, Howard Towns, and Mary Privett.

Reverend Tim Green and Reverend Cedric King will conduct the Funeral Service on Thursday, June 1, 2023 at 12:00 PM at The Chapel of The Snead Funeral Home.  Interment will follow at Wynnville Cemetery.  Mr. Towns will Lie In Repose, at Snead Funeral Home, Wednesday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM and Thursday from 11:00 AM until Funeral Time.

Pallbearers will be – Jimmy Thompson, Dewayne Green, Eric Thompson, Justin Hathcock, Michael Gibbs, and Ricky Black.
