Ms. Faye Brooks of Snead passed away Monday, August 11, 2014 at St. Vincent East Hospital at the age of 88.

Ms. Brooks is survived by her son: Marlin and Pat Brooks of Birmingham; daughter: Linda Couch of Jacksonville; grandchildren: Amy and Brian Bonner, Angela Ivey, Craig and Kristi Brooks, and Kristy and Len Shigley; great grandchildren: Tommy Munn, Katlynn Ivey, Cassie Cook, Grace Bonner, Courtney Ivey, Christian Ivey, Luke Bonner, Lillian Cook, Jarrett Brooks, Jackson Brooks, and Jonah Brooks; and great great grandchild: Tori Munn.

Brother David Socha, Brother Joey Smith, and Marlin Brooks will conduct the funeral service on Wednesday, August 13, 2014 @ 2pm at Snead United Methodist Church. Interment will follow at Bethel Cemetery. Ms. Brooks will lie in state at Snead Funeral Home on Tuesday from 5:30pm until 8:00pm and Wednesday from 8:30am until 1:00pm.

Ms. Brooks is predeceased in death by her parents: J.P. and Mary Clanton Brannon and a host of brothers and sisters.
